How it works

The example structure already demonstrates how this is accomplished.

- (dash) character

Use a "-" (dash) when specifying the depth of a path. Each "-" represents one level of depth, and each additional "-" adds another level of depth. The last "-" should be followed by one of the following characters: "+", "o", or "^".

+ (plus) character

Utilize a "+" (plus) when denoting a file. This should be followed by a space and then the name of the file (e.g., " tom-cruise.png").

"o" character

Apply an "o" (letter 'o') when indicating a closed folder.

^ (caret) character

Employ a "^" (caret) when representing an open folder.

Custom characters

If you want to customize the characters used for files and folders, you can do so by changing the settings under "Characters." However, it is not recommended to do this.

Colors

After changing the colors, the settings will be saved in a cookie. When you reload the URL of this service, it will retain the last colors you changed. he settings will be reset if you click the button or clear the browser cache.
